Bristol Old Vic 250th Birthday Mapping

The Bristol Old Vic Theatre turned 250 years in May 2016 and we were honoured to be asked to produce a projection mapped film to form part of their birthday celebrations. The film was projection-mapped onto a portion of their building that is soon to be knocked down to make way for a beautiful new foyer. The projection show was premiered on the eve of the theatre’s 250th anniversary.

The film explored the history of the building and the theatre, showing the buildings that have stood there over the centuries since the theatre first opened it’s doors, as well as the new building that’s going to be erected over the next couple of years.
