Bristol Beacon
We were invited to launch the new name of Bristol’s most prestigious music venue in October 2020. The building was turned into a beacon of light for two nights, the surface rippled with motion, colour, and imagery.
Limbic were asked to bring the new name to life, bringing their values, performers and audiences to the surface with mesmerising animations.
Projection mapping was a perfect solution to the ongoing government guidelines related to covid-19, allowing people to engage with their announcement outside and in their own time.
They really encouraged us to be ambitious and push ourselves to get a more dramatic and artistically satisfying result and they were right – going the extra mile created something that went well beyond our initial vision for the project.
